MP3 players work by storing the songs on the devices internal memory, this is normally on flash memory. Flash memory is the memory used in several electronic devices, these include digital cameras, computer chips, memory cards, memory sticks and lots more. They all offer MP3 players with varying features, they all offer plenty of storage space with 512mb and 1gig flash memory being the most common, some do come with huge data storage though with 4gig and 6gig versions being available.
